I had gotten four bids on this job and none of the other contractors mentioned the possibility of the patio sinking over time with the extra weight of the roof. Your team completed the project in a timely manner and they were meticulous in keeping the area clean and free of debris. My company, TransCentury Corporation, and I personally have been involved with large scale remodeling and construction from California to Georgia and in Texas from Houston to Dallas. We hired Lone Star Construction to design and build the wine racks and center section for an intricate wine cellar with several rooms and varying ceiling heights.

Stephen Miller gave me a competitive bid and then proceeded to do a complete and thorough job. Stephen and his crew worked well with the other subcontractors involved in the project. In addition to doing a superior job in the construction end, Stephen provided sound advice on specialized insulation as well as recommending a wine cooling system that was specifically designed for a professional wine cellar.

Stephen did not charge me for his advice and information even though I used his recommendations. I also found that Stephen had a sensitive feeling for design that he brought to the job and he dovetailed his design with a practical approach to costs.

Lonestar Remodeling recently completed a large brick patio for us. There is a walking path in our neighborhood that runs behind our house, and we receive complements regularly from the people passing by. Lonestar Remodeling kept the worksite clean and safe throughout the project, which is a must with my home owner’s association.

They also completed the project under budget, and within the time they estimated. I have since used them to replace a water heater, repair my roof after a storm, and to replace an aging cedar fence. Their professionalism and attention to detail is always impressive.

Stephen Miller and his employees at Lone Star Remodeling have done numerous repair and remodeling jobs for me over the past 20 years. All of the work has been of the highest quality. We have seen work in all of the following areas: sheet rock, tile, painting, roofing, plumbing, kitchen appliances, door thresholds, and entire bathroom remodeling. We have never had to call Lone Star Remodeling back to fix something that they had built/repaired; the quality and workmanship are excellent.

Stephen and his team of very talented folks did a phenomenal job of totally re-building our 28 year old “builder’s grade” master bath. The room was stripped to the studs. They relocated and built a beautiful new frameless shower (big enough to hold a party in), installed a new soaking tub, changed the flooring from white ceramic tile to Travertine (THAT was a job and a half), added Travertine wainscoting with decorative border throughout, and built two new granite-topped vanities with hand-built tile-framed mirrors. We even wound up with a Travertine trash basket. Everyone who’s seen it has had the same reaction: WOW!!!

We couldn’t recommend Stephen more highly.

I’ve been a client of Lone Star Remodeling for many years, at least eight. So far I’ve not had a problem they couldn’t solve, and solve well. The jobs have been many and varied, ranging from building new screen doors for the whole house to plumbing and electrical problems, and lots of projects in between. Just a quick note to let you know how pleased my husband and I are with our new French doors. We greatly appreciated the fact that as soon as they came in you and your crew were ready to pick them up and start the installation.
